"The Best. I've been seeing Dr. Schefdore for over 4 years, there was a lot of clean up work that every other dentist I've seen had missed. I was getting sinus infections on a regular basis, but Dr. Schefdore solved my issue, no more doctors visits or prescriptions for antibiotics! I had periodontal disease which was causing all of my headaches and sinus issues. Everything he does is explained in FULL detail, he gives you all of your options, his full attention, and time. He doesn't just stop in and say hi, Dr. Schefdore even does the teeth cleanings himself. My teeth have never looked better, his whitening technique is unbeatable, quick, and easy. The office is beautiful, and comfortable with an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The location in Westmont is perfect, easy to get to with lots of parking available. I live in Hinsdale, but would travel anywhere for his expertise. I'm taking such good care of my entire mouth now thanks to his guidance. "I Had a wonderful experience at Dr Schefdore's office. Everyone was very polite and informative. I felt completely comfortable. I have had an issue with food always getting stuck in my gum by my crown. Dr Schefdore fixed the issue with out having to get a new crown at a very minimal cost. My gum has never felt better. I highly recommend Dr Schefdore's office."
"I have to write this review because of the I DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT WORDS for treatment I received from Dr. Schefdore. I have not been to a dentist in 5 years and was nervous. Dr. Schefdore and his staff used the latest technological dental equipment to show me the problems and concerns. I stated my financial concerns. They worked up a treatment plan for me that I agreed to and for the next three days....they stuck to the treatment plan!!!!!! He was very careful to make sure the quote he gave me in the beginning was the one I walked out with in the end!!! I so liked that! :)
As far as the treatment itself.....OUSTANDING and literally minor or no pain. I had perio work, 2 crowns, and various cavity filling replacements and he did this all in 2 1/2 days at MY request. (I wanted to get it over with) The first day he did mostly the perio work on my gums---all 4 quadrants--he can do this with his equipment. Right after the appt, I went home, cut my yard, ran 7 miles and ate that night. The next day, more work on cavities and I had no pain at all.
I felt SO comfortable with this dentist and his staff and I was their new patient 3 days ago. I really like that he is a holistic type of dentist. He just doesn't work on and fix the symptoms of the gum disease. He targets the root problem of the periodontal disease and then works out a healthy plan to eliminate the problem so the periodontal does not come back.
I have been to many dentists in my lifetime ( I was in the military) and BY FAR... Dr Schefdore is the best- I could not even have imagined feeling this confident and happy with my dentist choice and his work."
